Welcome to d’terra law, LLC, where we provide you with choices, options and answers to your real property and business law questions.
The name of our firm is derived from the Latin words, de terra, meaning “of the land.” These words have a similar meaning in Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. d’terra law means “land law” or “law of the land.” Consistent with the name, our practice focus is real property, business and land use law.
Our mission is to provide clients with the experience, legal expertise and strategy they need to make informed decisions regarding their property.
Real property issues affect all of us at some point in our lives, from where we choose to live and build our homes, raise our families, conduct business, invest our money and time, to how we create our legacies and estate plans. Let us help you finalize your next real estate transaction, determine your rights to land, set up your new company, or create workable written agreements for your ongoing business. We can also help you navigate through government requirements and filing procedures for transferring, gifting or changing the use of your land.
Joan Neuffer has practiced law for 29 years in both Washington and Nevada. After many years of working as an attorney in Nevada’s Judicial Branch, she felt drawn back to the private sector to represent individual clients and their families, and to focus her talents, skills and experience in her chosen areas of law.
